Online Professional Development Opportunity

One of the best ways to learn how to effectively implement the Google Apps for Education in your classroom is to take the online Google Certified Educator Level 1 Course. By reading, watching videos, and doing activities, you will learn how to integrate Google in your classroom. You can start and stop lessons at any time; Google will track your progress through the courses.

Focus Certification Training

TTC, Fleming Island

Any administrators, guidance counselors, data entry clerks, or FOCUS lead teachers who are not already trained should complete these courses. We would also suggest this to any staff members aspiring to take on the roles above or help out in some of these capacities in years to come. Each course is approximately 3 hours long.

Information and Technology Services has completed the conversion to the Google Apps for Education.  This conversion will give faculty and staff many new exciting tools that will help streamline work to allow for digital collaboration.  Admin and Office Staff are invited to attend these courses to learn about the resources specific to your role.

Elevated Privileges Training

This two part training must be completed by faculty and staff members who are planning to serve as EP Support personnel to resolve computer issues around their schools.  EP personnel must be nominated by their administrators and complete both courses before their credentials will be issued.
